課程概述 |
本課程介紹及討論珊瑚礁生物學的研究現況, 主題包括: 珊瑚礁生物的物種多樣性、族群生態學、群聚生態學、共生關係、珊瑚礁魚類群聚、食階動態、演化生態學、生殖生態學、生物地理學、環境衝擊和珊瑚礁保育等。本課程的實習部分則為珊瑚礁生態野外潛水調查、採樣及實驗方法實習，著重理論和實際的相互印證。 |

課程目標 |
1. 瞭解珊瑚礁生物特性及研究現況。
2. 瞭解珊瑚礁研究的基礎步驟及技術, 包括蒐集珊瑚礁文獻、整理文獻、發表報告、野外調查、取樣研究等。 |

課程要求 |
1. Reading and review articles, and give presentations.
2. Field work on coral reef ecology. |
